Police Blotter: Bridgewater pedestrian killed after driver struck her

A 55-year-old woman died after a driver hit her in Bridgewater Tuesday.

Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz identified the victim as Lee Marie Hagerty of Bridgewater.

Hagerty was hit near Route 104 and Vernon Street around 5:15 p.m by a Honda CRV. She died from her injuries after being taken to Boston Medical Center South in Brockton, Cruz said in a statement.

The 63-year-old male driver stopped at the scene, according to Cruz.

The District Attorney’s Office and the Mass State Police were investigating the death.

Wareham police seize cocaine

Wareham police arrested Charles Lehr, 53, for allegedly trafficking cocaine last week.

Lehr was arraigned in Wareham District Court Friday on the trafficking charge and possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug.

Police arrested Lehr after performing a search warrant of his home and vehicle. According to Lt. Bryan M. Whalen, officers seized about 32 grams of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

Incident Summary

BPD responded to 230 incidents in the 24-hour period ending at 10 a.m. Wednesday, according to the department’s incident log. Those included arrests for one robbery, four aggravated assaults, two commercial burglaries, two residential burglaries, one larceny from a vehicle, and 14 miscellaneous larcenies.

— Brendan Lane, no address listed. Felony breaking and entering a boat or vehicle.

— Brian Kelley, 39 Schuyler St., Roxbury. Possession of a Class A drug.

— Olusegun Brathwaite, 96 Crispus Attucks Pl., Roxbury. Operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

— Michael Browne, 54 White St., Brookline. Trafficking more than 20 grams of fentanyl.

— Terrell Woodberry, 151 Blue Hill Ave., Roxbury. Larceny over $250.

— Luis De La Rosa Sanchez, 31 Gayland St., Dorchester. Carrying a firearm without a license.

— Michael Rodrigues Fabiano Jr., no address listed. Shoplifting by asportation.

— Jeffrey Bliss, 35 Seaver St., Natick. Shoplifting more than $100 by asportation.

— Kerry Seerattan, 95 Squantum St., Quincy. Shoplifting more than $100 by asportation.

— Cory Dinovo, 67A Old Ironside Way, Charlestown. Trespassing.

— Carlos Reyes, 41 Bowdoin St., Boston. Shoplifting more than $100 by asportation.
