NBA pospone encuentro de Warriors y Timberwolves en Minneapolis tras tiroteo de ICE
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — El partido de la NBA entre los Timberwolves de Minnesota y los Warriors de los Golden State fue pospuesto el sábado por la tarde tras otro tiroteo fatal por parte de agentes federales de inmigración en Minneapolis.
La liga anunció que la decisión se tomó para “priorizar la seguridad de la comunidad de Minneapolis” después de que Alex Pretti, de 37 años, fuera asesinado en un enfrentamiento con los agentes en una calle de un distrito comercial a menos de dos millas del Target Center, el estadio del centro de la ciudad donde juegan los Timberwolves.
El partido se retrasó 24 horas y se reprogramó para la tarde del domingo. Los Timberwolves y los Warriors también tienen programado jugar su segundo encuentro de la serie el lunes por la noche.
