Womens basketball: Gophers fall to Washington
Sayvia Sellers had a game-high 23 points as Washington beat Minnesota 67-54 in a Big Ten women’s basketball game Sunday in Seattle.
Mara Braun led the Gophers (12-6 overall, 3-4 Big Ten) with 18 points and six rebounds. Amaya Battle tacked on 12 points and two steals, and Grace Grocholski chipped in as well with 11 points and seven rebounds.
Hannah Stines had 11 points and seven rebounds for the Huskies (14-4, 4-3).
