Porsche Sets a US Sales Record in 2025 by Just 52 Cars

Porsche doesn’t need a blowout win to celebrate. In 2025, Porsche Cars North America edged out its previous annual sales record with 76,219 deliveries, just 52 units ahead of 2024’s 76,167. It’s the kind of photo finish that sounds almost too neat, but it also says a lot about how steady Porsche’s demand has stayed while the market around it continues to shift.

The big driver was exactly what you’d expect if you’ve spent five minutes in a dealership parking lot lately: SUVs. The Macan led the charge with 27,139 sales, followed closely by the Cayenne at 20,314. The 911 still did what the 911 always does, anchoring the brand’s performance halo with 13,574 sold, and December turned into the model’s best sales month on record, a nice reminder that the sports car crowd is still very much alive and well.

Behind those headline getters, Porsche’s other nameplates filled out the scoreboard with the 718 at 6,399, the Panamera at 4,651, and the Taycan at 4,142. Porsche’s leadership credited the result to buyers sticking with the brand through a year of “profound change,” and it’s hard to argue with that when the mix shows shoppers continuing to split their attention between daily-driver practicality and the badge’s enthusiast staples.

What might be even more telling is what happened outside the new-car lane. Porsche’s certified pre-owned business jumped to 48,092 sales in 2025, up 11% and a new record. With used inventory climbing nationally and lots getting more crowded, that surge makes perfect sense: more choice, more availability, and a CPO safety net that’s especially appealing when you want the Porsche experience without the new-car price tag.
