Man dies of multiple gunshot wounds in Mattapan
A man was shot and killed in Mattapan in the early hours of Monday morning.
Boston Police responded to a report of a person shot at 24 Stow Road around 12:12 a.m. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Police have not yet released the victim’s name.
BPD is actively investigating the death and asking for anyone with information to reach out to the department’s homicide unit at 617-343-4470.
