Patriots get potential bad news in final practice before Bills game
FOXBORO — Patriots starting defensive tackle Christian Barmore was a surprise absence for the start of Friday’s practice.
Barmore and running back Terrell Jennings were the lone players missing from the final practice before the Patriots take on the Bills on Sunday at 1 p.m. Outside linebacker Harold Landry (knee) returned.

Barmore was listed as limited in Wednesday’s practice for non-injury-related/other reasons. That’s typical for him in at least one practice per week after last year’s bout with blood clots.
The Patriots are already without starting defensive tackle Milton Williams, who’s on injured reserve with an ankle injury and can’t return until Week 17. Being without Barmore would further hurt the Patriots’ interior pass rush and run defense.
Landry was limited in Wednesday’s practice and didn’t participate Thursday. It’s a positive sign to see him back on the practice field Friday.
