Massachusetts man accused of shooting a golfer with a BB-type pellet
A golfer had quite the scare on a local course last week.
A 46-year-old Waltham man is accused of shooting a golfer with a BB-type pellet at Leo J. Martin Golf Course in Weston last Thursday.
Police have filed an application for a criminal complaint that seeks to charge Kenneth Bergin.
Weston Police last Thursday responded to the golf course for a golfer reportedly being struck by a BB-type pellet.
The golfer was uninjured in the incident.
Police are seeking to charge Bergin with: disorderly conduct; discharging a BB gun across a public way; and property damage.
Weston Police said this remains an active investigation.
