South St. Paul: Woman has life-threatening injuries after vehicle apparently struck her
A woman was found with life-threatening injuries in South St. Paul early Monday, police said.
She had “injuries consistent with being struck and/or dragged by a motor vehicle,” according to a social media post from South St. Paul police.
Police believe there was a relationship between the driver and the woman, and are working to determine what happened, said Police Chief Brian Wicke. The woman was hospitalized.
The driver fled in the vehicle before police arrived. Police later located the vehicle. No one was in custody as of Monday morning, Wicke said.
Officers canvassed the area, and police are encouraging anyone with information to call 651-413-8300 and ask to speak with an investigator.
