The Jaecoo J7 holds 7.2% of the Israeli new car market over Q2.

According to our local partner cartube.co.il, new car sales in Israel sink -34.4% year-on-year in June  to just 17,025 units, meaning the H1 2025 tally is now up only 2.9% to 159,666. Toyota (-29.3%) is in total freefall, albeit less fast than the market, but manages to keep the lead of the brands charts with 13.6% share. This is better than the 12.5% so far this year. Chery (+75.4%) is on a roll and breaks its share record anew, lifting it to 10.7%. Hyundai (-17.6%) is stuck in third place but holds onto the YTD top spot for just 83 sales over Toyota. Kia (-32.4%) and Skoda (-32.1%) roughly match the market to round out the Top 5. Jaecoo is down two spots on May to a still very impressive 7th place with 7.1% share. Xpeng (+218%) and Geely (+12.8%) are the only two YoY gainers in the Top 20.

The new Jaecoo J7 is a distant leader over Q2 with a stunning 7.2% share, snapping the H1 2025 pole position as well as a result. #1 over Q1, the Hyundai Kona (+237%) drops to #2 both for the month and YTD. The Chery Tiggo 8 Pro (+136.2%) leaps from #22 over Q1 directly to #3 with 4% share, ahead of the Kia Picanto (+56.1%) and Toyota Corolla Cross (+13%). Toyota also places the RAV4 (+56.4%) at #7 and Chery the Tiggo 7 Pro (+203.8%) at #8 vs. #49 over QA1. The new Xpeng G6 brilliantly manages a Top 10 spot at #9 with the Hyundai Elantra (-31.6%), disappointing, rounding out the Top 10.
