Jimmy Fund’s Scooper Bowl kicks off with all-you-can-eat ice cream at City Hall Plaza
The Jimmy Fund’s annual “Scooper Bowl” kicked off at Boston City Hall Plaza on Tuesday, serving unlimited ice cream to combat the heat while raising funds for cancer research and patient care.
“With more than 900 gallons of ice cream brought in each year, attendees can experience the nation’s largest all-you-can-eat ice cream festival, all while supporting lifesaving research breakthroughs and care at Dana-Farber,” the Dana Farber Cancer Institute said of the event. “Join us as we defy cancer with every scoop.”
The Scooper Bowl features unlimited ice cream along with other frozen treats, with live entertainment, games and activities in the plaza. The festival lasts from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
