
Mauritius Q1 2025: Market up 21.5%, Suzuki at record 28.4% share
Suzuki sales are up 37.9% year-on-year over Q1.
New vehicle sales in Mauritius shoot up by 21.5% year-on-year over the First Quarter of 2025 to 4,680 units. Suzuki (+37.9%) tightens its grip on the market to a phenomenal 28.4% share, leaving Toyota (+22.6%) in the dust at 12.5% of the market. Kia (+44.6%) rounds out the podium as it did over the Full Year 2024. Nissan (-10.3%) is in difficulty but manages to hold onto the 4th spot overall above Mitsubishi (+31.3%) which passes Mazda (-7.8%) for #5. Mercedes (+22.1%) is the only additional Top 10 member in positive. Further down, Chinese BYD (+500%) and GWM (+352.2%) step up to #12 and #11 respectively.
