Loons pursuing Julian Gressel from Inter Miami
Minnesota United is pursuing a deal to bring in Julian Gressel from Inter Miami, according to GiveMeSport.
Reporter Tom Bogert said “Nothing done yet. Still details to figure out. Optimism something gets done.”
The MLS primary transfer window closes on Wednesday.
Gressel is a versatile right-sided player who has played for five MLS clubs. The 31-year-old has yet to play for Miami this season.
The Loons have had a strong start to the 2025 season, but have have roster needs throughout the field. Bongi Hlongwane has played right wingback under head coach Eric Ramsay but it has not been the smoothest transitions. Gressel would be a more natural fit at that spot.
