Boston police investigate fatal shooting in Roxbury
Boston Police are investigating after a man was killed in a shooting in Roxbury Saturday night.
Officers responded to a report of a person shot near 2343 Washington Street around 11:03 p.m. on Saturday, according to BPD. Police found the victim suffering from what they observed to be a gunshot wound. The victim was transported a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased, police said.
A second victim also reported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The BPD’s homicide unit is investigating the case and has encouraged any community members with information to contact the department.
