Morocco March 2025: Market up 35.7%, Dacia Sandero ultra dominant
The Dacia Sandero is by far the best-selling vehicle in Morocco in March.
It’s another outstanding month for new light vehicle sales in Morocco, up 35.7% year-on-year in March to 17,417 units. This is split between 15,616 passenger cars (+39.4%) and 1,801 light commercials (+10.7%). The overall market is now up 35% over Q1 to 48,172. In the passenger car brands charts, this time Dacia (+59.8%) outpaces the market and climbs to 28.3% share vs. 24.1% over Q1. Renault (+35%) is less dynamic at 16.6% share, followed by Hyundai (+46.4%), Peugeot (+72.3%) and Volkswagen (+95.6%) all managing fantastic growth rates. Audi (+36.8%) is back to the #1 premium spot while Skoda (+63.3%) returns inside the Top 10.
This month we have an exclusive glimpse at the passenger models best-sellers. The Dacia Sandero is the runaway leader with no less than 13.1% share vs. 10.1% over the Full Year 2024. The Dacia Logan and Renault Express follow. The Peugeot 208 is up to #4 ahead of the Dacia Duster while the new Renault Kardian manages a spot in the Top 10.
