Donte DiVincenzo, Naz Reid suspended for Wolves game Tuesday in Denver
The Timberwolves will be without two of their top reserves Tuesday in Denver for an important game against the Nuggets.
The NBA announced its penalties from Sunday’s scuffle between Detroit and Minnesota, which resulted in seven total ejections.
Naz Reid and Donte DiVincenzo were each suspended one game each, and will miss Tuesday’s tilt in Denver.
Detroit guard Ron Holland II, who DiVincenzo wrestled into the first row, and teammate Marcus Sasser were also suspended for one game, while Pistons forward Isaiah Stewart received a two-game suspension, “based in part on his repeated history of unsportsmanlike acts.”
Neither Wolves assistant Pablo Prigioni, nor Pistons head coach J.B. Bickerstaff — who were also ejected Sunday as a result of a verbal altercation between the two coaches — were suspended by the league.
