In a South Coast Conference game, Emery Robbins recorded 24 points, five rebounds, and six assists to push Bourne (7-1) to a 83-61 win over Seekonk. … Dom Taylor poured in 19 points, Colten Pacheco was right behind with 17 points, and Finn Bjork notched a double-double (12 points, 14 rebounds) as Somerset Berkley (8-1) defeated Old Rochester 80-55.

Jake McSharry (16 points, 11 rebounds) and Tyler Staiti (12 points) led Abington to a 45-42 win over East Bridgewater in South Shore League play. … Nate Helms (17 points), Will Ruffini (15 points) and Matt Lennox (15 points) powered the Carver offense in a 66-57 win over Randolph.

In the Catholic Conference, James Jones had 19 and freshman Sean Costello added 15 as BC High took down Xaverian 63-53.

Eli Ifrah (23 points), Robert Liriano (18 points) and Ty Pindel 15 points led the way as Westwood edged Tri-Valley League opponent Dover-Sherborn 60-56.

June Vasquez’ 16 points and JJ Martinez’ 15 points led St. Mary’s of Lynn to a 76-59 Catholic Central League win over Arlington Catholic.

Niko Catalano dialed up 22 points for North Andover as it bested Dracut, 69-48, in Merrimack Valley Conference action.

Desmond Flumo’s 20 points proved the difference for Acton-Boxboro, fueling a 74-51 Dual County League win over Wayland.

Rolky Brea Arias (17 points, eight rebounds) and Deshawn Rucker (17 points, four assists) paced the way as Lynn Classical edged Lynn English 61-58 in the Greater Boston League.

In the Merrimack Valley Conference matchup, Sarah Parker tallied a career high 16 points as Central Catholic (7-2) defeated Haverhill, 75-23. … Kaylee Maier and Cassidy Saindon each scored 12 points as Dracut (3-8) defeated North Andover 53-48 in overtime.

Lynn Classical (7-2) was led by Divine Egbuta (19 points), Savannah Tang (14 points), and Keisha Perez (13 points) in a 53-38 win over Medford, in a Greater Boston League contest. … In a Middlesex League game, Molly Trahan led the way with 32 points as Reading defeated Watertown, 58-29.

BOYS SOCCER

Whitman-Hanson names Ruben Teixeira as the school’s new boys soccer coach. Currently serving as a senior director for Mass City Soccer Club in the South Shore region, Teixeira has demonstrated his ability to develop young talent and build successful programs. His previous high school coaching experience includes successful tenures at both Stoughton and Plymouth South High School.
