Patriots add rookie wide receiver to replace Jalen Reagor
The Patriots filled the final open spot on their practice squad by signing rookie undrafted free-agent wide receiver John Jiles.
Jiles effectively replaces Jalen Reagor, who was cut last week, on the practice squad. The West Florida product is 6-foot-3, 219 pounds and ran a 4.57-second 40-yard dash at his pro day in March.

He spent the summer with the Giants and caught two passes on seven targets for 41 yards in three games this preseason.
The 24-year-old transferred from Fort Scott (Kan.) Community College to Virginia Union before playing at West Florida. He caught 66 passes for a school-record 1,255 yards with 16 touchdowns as a senior in 2023.
Jiles now fills out a practice squad that includes fellow wide receiver Matt Landers, running backs Kevin Harris and Terrell Jennings, tight end Mitchell Wilcox, offensive tackles Caleb Jones and Jalen McKenzie, guard Liam Fornadel, center Bryan Hudson, linebacker Joe Giles-Harris, edge defenders Ochaun Mathis and Jotham Russell, defensive tackles Trysten Hill and Jaquelin Roy, cornerbacks Isaiah Bolden and D.J. James and safety Mark Perry.
