$1.2M seaside home destroyed by fire in Scituate
A wind-whipped fire tore through an ocean-front home in Scituate Friday, gutting the $1.2 million home.
“Strong winds and storm conditions have further complicated the operation. Crews are actively working to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring homes,” Scituate police said in a statement.
Firefighters from Cohasset, Hingham, Marshfield, Norwell and Pembroke assisted. No word on any injuries.
Redfin lists the four-bedroom home as worth $1.23 million.
