Why don’t they just come out and admit that they want him dead?

They barely hide it any more. After some pro forma statement about how violence has no place blah-blah-blah, the Democrats and state-run media (but I repeat myself) just go back to tearing him apart, blaming him for the fact he’s being used as a clay pigeon by their deranged cult members.

NBC News called the latest botched assassination attempt a “golf-course incident.”

USA Today shrugged that “shots fired in his vicinity.”

The Atlantic, which used to be a magazine, said Trump “is using another possible attempt on his life to inflame tensions in America, which is one more reason he should never be president again.”

So it’s Trump’s fault that Democrats are trying to murder him. And they don’t even pretend otherwise.

Rep. Dan Goldman: “He has to be eliminated.”

Rick Wilson of the Pedo, er Lincoln Project: “They’re still going to have to go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump.”

Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (after the second assassination attempt on Sunday): “We must stop (Trump).”

The Cincinnati Enquirer, which used to be a newspaper, said, “The former president, Donald Trump, brings a lot of this stuff on himself.”

You mean like young women wearing provocative clothing bring it on themselves?

Bloomberg said he was “seizing on assassination attempt.”

They love that word “seize,” almost as much as “pounce” or “weaponize.”

A Washington Post columnist said: “Another chance for Trump to frame Democrats as dangerous has emerged.”

The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, during the early NFL games. I guess the networks ran crawls at the bottom of the screen announcing the news, then waited until halftime for the briefest of updates.

After the late game, “60 Minutes” ran a 13-minute piece about… Jan. 6. Why sub out anything? It’s 60 Minutes – Very Fake News.

A lot of the same Democrat operatives with press passes who are, basically, laughing at what almost happened to Trump are the same hacks who were slobbering all over Jussie Smollett and his racist hoax.

And how about Hillary Clinton? She couldn’t even wait 48 hours before denouncing him for fomenting “the politics of hate and division… his demagoguery and danger….”

This is the woman who paid for the Russian collusion hoax of 2016-17, who still claims the 2016 election was “stolen” from her.

Routh tweeted out in April: “DEMOCRACY is on the ballot and we cannot lose.”

Which is exactly what all the Democrats have been saying all through the campaign. So were those Democrats “inciting” violence?

Time, which used to be a magazine, said Routh had “unclear political ideology.”

Really? He had a Biden-Harris sticker on his broken-down truck. He donated to almost 20 Democrats, including the fake Indian. He self-published a book begging Iran to assassinate Trump.

But his political ideology remains unclear? Just like when the Muslim terrorists scream “Allahu Akbar!” we are always told that “we may never know the motives of the killer.”

Trump is dodging bullets as Kamala dodges interviews. That was a good meme on the Internet. As was the one that said Donald Trump has taken a lot more fire than Tim Walz ever did, despite his decades of stolen valor.

Remember Lee Harvey Oswald? This latest Democrat Ryan Wesley Routh gave off heavy Lee Harvey Oswald vibes. Both spent a lot of time out of the country. Both were obsessed with authoritarian, very dodgy foreign regimes – Lee Harvey Oswald’s “Fair Play for Cuba” pamphlets, Routh cheerleading for the AZOV pro-Nazi brigades in Ukraine.

On Monday, two would-be assassins of Donald Trump were in court, Routh in West Palm Beach, as well as a Pakistani working for Iran in federal court in Brooklyn.

For those of you keeping score at home, that’s three contracts out on Donald Trump in the last two months.

As Ian Fleming once wrote in Goldfinger:

“Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. The third time it’s enemy action.”

This is enemy action.

How did Routh know that Trump was going to play golf in West Palm on Sunday afternoon? It was not public knowledge. The Secret Service director said they didn’t know Trump was planning to golf until Sunday morning.

Yet Routh was staking out the tree line at the golf course at 1:59 a.m. Sunday morning, with his SKS rifle with the obliterated serial numbers, and the car with the stolen license plates.

At the press conference Sunday, we were told the FBI would handle the investigation. The agent making the statement was one Jeffrey Veltri, a rabidly anti-Trump Democrat who, according to the Washington Times, had to scrub his social media before he got his promotion to run the Miami office.

Veltri, according to the whistleblowers, considers agents who go to church and refuse to take COVID shots to be… questionable, shall we say.

No wonder Gov. Ron DeSantis wants a state investigation.

They want Trump gone, one way or another. Lawfare failed, just like the FBI frame-ups and the impeachments and ballot challenges. The harder they hit him, the stronger he becomes. Less than seven weeks to the election, and now there’s only way left to stop him.

Why don’t they just come right out and say it?
