Linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley, who suffered a torn pectoral muscle in last weekend’s loss to Seattle and may be lost for the season, was also absent.
Lowe is dealing with a knee injury he suffered late in Sunday’s loss, when Ximines also got hurt. Sow hasn’t practice since the team’s preseason finale on Aug. 25. If Lowe cannot start, third-round rookie Caedan Wallace projects to replace him in the starting lineup.
The Patriots will not hold another practice before kicking off Thursday night.
