Gallery: September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance
The 23nd anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and Hunger Action Month, nearly 1,400 volunteers from throughout the Boston community joined together to pack more than 400,000 healthy, non-perishable meals for those at risk of hunger. All of the meals will be donated to The Greater Boston Food Bank for distribution to individuals and families in need in the Boston area.
