Patriots rookie wide receiver Javon Baker found out just how unyielding the State Police can be at Logan Airport.

Since 9/11, lingering at Logan has been difficult, with the cell phone lot being the best alternative if you need to wait. If you’re dropping someone off, it’s get in and get out quick.

Baker, an impressive WR who made the 53-man roster, was given a ticket at Logan and groused about it on social media Sunday, posting an Instagram live video where he said, in part: “I’ve got other (expletive) to worry about. … why’s he doing that? I was dropping someone off at the airport.

“It’s weird. He started yelling at me … my tax dollars, I pay you. You work for me!” he added. “Weird out here.”

The State Police did not immediately respond to the Herald’s request for comment.

But Patriots Coach Jerod Mayo did Monday, saying the rookie’s response to a ticket is out of bounds.

The player’s video “in no way represents what the organization is about, in no way represents what we are about as a team, or how Javon needs to go out there and represent himself,” Mayo said.

“We’ve handled it internally. We had a great conversation. I think it’s a combination of immaturity and just realizing the grand scheme — we’re on a big stage here and you can’t do those things. As far as our relationship with law enforcement and things like that, I think it’s outstanding and we’ll continue to strengthen that relationship going forward,” the coach added.

Baker has has a flair for bigger plays, the Herald has reported from summer camp.

He is considered a potential play-maker taken in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

“It’s very encouraging knowing that my teammates and my family and the coaches trust me when I get out there with the ball in my hand,” Baker told the Herald.

He also needs to be more elusive around Logan.
