Standing tall in Quincy
The Lone Sailor Statue was unveiled Friday as part of the new Quincy Navy Park at Squantum. Lone Sailor statues now stand in 18 locations around the world, including Pearl Harbor and Normandy, France. Quincy’s statue will be the 19th, and the first in Massachusetts.
