North St. Paul police: 3 juveniles injured in assault, one with life-threatening injuries

A juvenile sustained life-threatening injuries in an assault and two other young people were also injured in North St. Paul Wednesday night, police said.

There was an altercation between a group of people who gathered in a parking lot, police said of preliminary information.

Officers were sent to the 2200 block of 11th Avenue about 7 p.m. on a report of an assault and found the juvenile female who was seriously injured. It wasn’t immediately clear where the assault happened, police said. She was transported to a hospital.

Investigators found out soon after that two additional juveniles, a male and a female, had also been assaulted and someone took them to a hospital before police arrived.

North St. Paul police are investigating and ask anyone with information to call them at 651-747-2444.
