He is well known for his shooting skills and his ability to solve dangerous cases. His biggest flaw is women; he is flirtatious in nature, and this adds more humor to the story.

The official synopsis describes him as ‘an exceptional marksman and hopeless playboy, private eye Ryo Saeba, who reluctantly forms an alliance with his late partner’s sister to investigate his death.’

Review and Critics of City Hunter

The first season of City Hunter, which aired in April 2024, grabbed fans’ attention with its excellent acting and storyline. Ryohei Suzuki, as the Ryo Saeba character, was highly praised for his balanced humor, action, and emotions. Fans loved the original tone and character that the film follows. While some of the fans felt that the story’s pace could be tighter. Overall, the movie got a positive response with a 6.3 rating out of 10 on IMDb.

What is the Release Date of City Hunter 2?

The exact date for the release of the second season of City Hunter is not out yet. Stats indicate that Netflix will air Season 2 by early 2027. In an interview, Tsukasa Hojo, the original creator, replied to questions about the second season’s release: “I was deeply impressed by the incredible passion of Ryohei Suzuki and the director.” In particular, Ryohei’s physical transformation was remarkable.’

They announced the renewal on March 26, Ryo Saeba’s birthday. He expressed his gratitude by saying, ‘It is thanks to everyone who loved and supported the previous film that we can bring you a new installment. I’m truly grateful.’
