Pawtucket, R.I. mass shooting: ATF Boston agents respond to reported shooting at ice rink
A mass shooting was reported at a Rhode Island ice rink Monday afternoon, as first responders and investigators responded to the deadly incident.
The suspect and one victim were dead and four people were hospitalized following the shooting at Dennis M Lynch Arena in Pawtucket, WPRI reported.
A high school hockey game had been scheduled for Monday afternoon.
“ATF agents are responding to a reported shooting in Pawtucket, RI, to assist state and local authorities,” ATF Boston posted. “The public should avoid the area and follow the directions of Pawtucket police.”

Providence Police said they were “monitoring the situation in Pawtucket. We currently have officers on scene providing assistance.”
This mass shooting comes a couple months after the deadly mass shooting at Brown University in nearby Providence.
