Patriots add running back, AFC title game hero to Super Bowl LX active roster
SAN FRANCISCO — The Patriots elevated running back D’Ernest Johnson and defensive tackle Leonard Taylor III from the practice squad to their active game day roster Saturday ahead of Super Bowl LX.
This is the third straight playoff game Johnson has been elevated from the practice squad, and the fourth consecutive postseason game that Taylor has been promoted.

Johnson will serve as running back depth behind Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson.
Taylor, who blocked a field goal attempt late in the fourth quarter of the Patriots’ AFC Championship Game win over the Broncos, will play behind Milton Williams, Christian Barmore, Khyiris Tonga and Cory Durden.
The Patriots must make seven players inactive in Sunday’s Super Bowl matchup with the Seahawks.
The Seahawks elevated running backs Cam Akers and Velus Jones Jr. from the practice squad.
