2026 Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle keeps brand afloat
The Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle PHEV brings all of the minivan magic to Grasso’s Garage this week.
Chrysler has put all of their energy into the Pacifica, a 7-passenger minivan, after their rabbit-hole idea of going all electric seems to be stuck in its tracks with the EV tax credit eliminated in late September. Powered by a 3.6L V6 Plug-in Hybrid engine providing 32 miles on pure electric charge and over 520 miles of total range, the Pacifica Pinnacle is top of the class.
Our tester wrapped in Red Hot Pearl and 18-inch wheels certainly stood out in the crowd aesthetically.
On the interior, the 2026 Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle PHEV boasts tons of storage space and comfort for people moving, to say nothing of its great infotainment system: the UConnect 5 with navigation and a 10.1-inch touch-screen display. Did I mention all of the technology the Pacifica has to offer is standard equipment? Apple CarPlay, Google Android Auto, UConnect Theatre, Amazon Fire TV Built-in, FamCam Interior Camera and WiFi- Hot Spot.
With easy-slide 2nd-row bucket seats that set it apart from the competition, the Pacifica delivers top-notch comfort and safety for passengers. Safety features include ParkSense Front and Rear Park-Assist, 360 surround-view camera system, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane-Departure Warning and Pedestrian Emergency Braking. These items show the consumer that FCA, Chrysler’s parent company, is committed to delivering excellence in every avenue of the experience.
As a minivan fan, I felt the Pacifica Hybrid held up for everyday usage, and its storage, utilization capabilities and comfort stood out. Its PHEV and 30+ miles of pure electric charge make the Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle PHEV the way to ride around town, go to work or even the baseball field for an afternoon practice with the kids.
