Marineros adquieren al receptor venezolano Jhonny Pereda de los Mellizos
SEATTLE (AP) — Los Marineros de Seattle han adquirido al receptor Jhonny Pereda, procedente de los Mellizos de Minnesota, a cambio de dinero en efectivo.
Seattle anunció que había adquirido al venezolano Pereda y dado de baja al lanzador derecho Jackson Kowar el martes.
Minnesota dio de baja a Pereda el viernes.
Pereda, de 29 años, bateó para .246 con un embasado de .325, sin jonrones y con cuatro carreras impulsadas en 28 juegos con los Atléticos y los Mellizos la temporada pasada.
Kowar, de 29 años, tuvo un récord de 2-0 con una efectividad de 4.24 en 15 relevos con Seattle.
