High school roundup/scores: Matt Cameron nets four goals to spark Minuteman to 14-1 rout

Matt Cameron netted four goals, while Garret Lasonde, Drew Grant and Jacques Akelian scored two goals each as Minuteman cruised to a 14-1 nonleague boys hockey win over East Boston.

Boys basketball

In the Cape Ann League, Justin Flores (22 points) and Cam Chisholm (11 points) paced the offense as Lynnfield defeated Hamilton-Wenham 67-47.

Jadon Beatty scored 20 points, Jack Olinto added 18 points and Marty McDonagh put up 12 points as Archbishop Williams topped Bishop Fenwick 82-58 in a Catholic Central League matchup.

Girls basketball

Brooke Fisher (13 points, four rebounds, three steals), Sarah Costa (12 points, six rebounds), Madi Bednarz (11 points) and Grace Kayata (10 points) finished in double figures for Somerset Berkley (5-4) in a 58-51 South Coast Conference victory over Dighton-Rehoboth.

Carolyn Collins scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Mya Korpal had 15 points as Winchester came back to defeat Reading 54-53 in Middlesex League play. … Kayleigh McCarthy, Camry Williams and Ari Brown registered nine points each for Woburn in a 46-39 win over Arlington.

Naya Annigeri (19 points, six steals), Abby Broderick (16 points, five rebounds), Meghan Olenik (14 points, four rebounds) and Tess Baacke (10 points, five rebounds, three steals) guided Medfield (8-0) in an 85-37 rout of Tri-Valley League foe Bellingham.

Girls hockey

Ellie Tabor scored twice as Thayer defeated Portsmouth Abbey (Rhode Island) 5-0 in NEPSAC action.
