High School roundup/scores: Danvers star sees 20-20 in victory

AngieLouise Djoko flirted with a triple-double and finished with an eye-opening 21 points, 20 boards and eight steals as Danvers doubled up Masconomet, 58-29, in Northeastern Conference play.

In nonleague play, Sadie Hartley-Matteson netted 13 while Emma Johnson and Maddie Hardy each added 12 as Old Rochester rolled over Bishop Stang, 58-22. … Sarah Costa and Brooks Fisher each scored 16 points as Somerset Berkley (4-4) defeated New Bedford, 54-41. … Dylan Hurley and Maliah Pierre led with 16 apiece as Whitman-Hanson (6-1) took down Fontbonne, 66-54.

In the South Shore League, Addy Andrews (20 points) and Kate Greer (17 points) each registered great games offensively as Cohasset (3-4) defeated Carver, 56-46.

Boys basketball

Junior guard Rex Satter dropped 23 points, adding eight assists, seven rebounds and six steals as Ipswich (4-3) cruised to a 74-59 win over Whittier in nonleague play.

In a Cape and Islands League matchup, Burke Lombardi led with 19 points and Vallon Jeanty chipped in with 18 as Nantucket bested Cape Cod Academy, 70-50.

In the Commonwealth Athletic Conference, freshman Jacen Padiel turned in a double-double (12 points, 12 rebounds), as Greater Lowell (2-5) registered an impressive 50-43 victory over Shawsheen.

Colin Okoth buried six three-pointers, registering a career-high 23 points as Malden (3-5) rolled to a 58-41 victory over Revere in the Greater Boston League.

Girls hockey

In the Independent Schools League, Lydia Kealty scored twice with an assist as Thayer Academy topped Austin Prep, 3-1.

Class Notes

Longtime Concord-Carlisle girls volleyball coach Jim Crandall retired from his post Wednesday. Crandall spent 15 seasons at the helm and led the Patriots to a Final Four appearance in 2021.
