Patriots waive two players to potentially activate two starters from IR
The Patriots cleared two spots on their 53-man roster Monday by waiving center Brenden Jaimes and cornerback Miles Battle.
That opens space on the roster for the Patriots to activate defensive tackle Milton Williams (ankle) and left tackle Will Campbell (knee) from injured reserve.

Williams was eligible to be activated last week, but the Patriots instead signed Jeremiah Pharms Jr. to the 53-man roster and elevated Leonard Taylor from the practice squad to fill their depth at the position.
This is the first week Campbell is eligible to practice and be activated to the 53-man roster. Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel said Monday that Campbell is expected back at practice this week.
Battle was signed from the practice squad to the 53-man roster last month. He’s appeared in five games this season, making three tackles.
Jaimes was just signed to the 53-man roster last week. He’s appeared in three games this season.
Battle and Jaimes can re-sign to the Patriots’ practice squad if they clear waivers on Tuesday.
