Boston Police Blotter: Missing teen, assault and battery

Boston Police are looking for a missing 14-year-old girl, last seen Saturday morning in Dorchester.

Malani Pina was reported missing in the area of Bowdoin Avenue. After leaving her residence around 9 a.m., she was observed around the Dudley Square Bus Station.

Police said she may have boarded the Route 66 bus. A BPD bulletin described her a Black, 5’2” teen with long red hair, last seen wearing all black clothing and carrying a black backpack.

Pina is known to hang around areas near Harambee Park and the Ripley Road Playground.

BPD is still looking into the circumstances around the incident and asked anyone with information to call 911 or detectives from district C-11 at 617-343-4335. Anonymous information can be reported through the department CrimeStoppers Tip Line.

Incident Summary

BPD responded to 179 incidents in the 24-hour period ending at 10 a.m. Sunday, according to the department’s incident log. Those included arrests for two robberies, six aggravated assaults, one residential burglary, four larcenies from a vehicle, 17 miscellaneous larcenies, and five auto thefts.

All of the below-named defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

— Neru Cloyd, 38 Clifton St., Roxbury. Unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

— Ebony Anderson, no address listed. Assault and battery.

— Feliciha Anderson, 137 Tonawanda St., Dorchester. Assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

— Kevens Chery, no address listed. Assault and battery on a family/household member.

— Hani Ali, 1750 Commonwealth Ave., Brighton. Trespassing.

— Jose Rodriguez, 142 Blue Hill Ave., Boston. Warrant arrest.

— Kevin Simon, 9 Brent St., Dorchester. Larceny of a motor vehicle.

— Patrick Desrouleaux, 17 Gladstone St., Everett. Larceny from a person.

— Mashia Strothers-Heckstal, 139 Carolina Ave., Boston. Uninsured motor vehicle.
