Boston Police Blotter: 17-year-old busted after cops find a Glock 19
Police found a Glock 19 on a 17-year-old Tuesday morning while arresting another person for an outstanding warrant.
Boston police officers found Antonio Walker, 18, in South Boston around 10 a.m., placing him under arrest under his South Boston District Court warrant for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and threat to commit a crime.
Upon a sweep of the apartment, police located an unnamed 17-year-old male locked in a bathroom, initially refusing to come out. He opened the door after multiple requests, leaving a backpack in the bathroom that officers searched.
The police recovered a gun and arrested the teen, who’s expected to be arraigned in juvenile court for unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, and unlawful possession of a large capacity feeding device.
The weapon was a Glock 19 with eight rounds inside an extended magazine able to hold 31 rounds, according to BPD.
