UK nations October 2025: Chery Tiggo 7 manages first Top 10 finish

The Chery Tiggo 7 is up to #6 in Scotland in October.

Thanks to SMMT we can share with you the Top 10 best-sellers for each UK nation in October. Keep in mind this is a zoom in by nation, UK overall sales figures are already included in the October 2025 UK update. This month England (+1.4%) is the only nation in positive to 123,734 units. Northern Ireland (-8.7% to 3,406) is hit the hardest with Scotland (-3.8% to 12,506) and Wales (-2.5% to 5,037) also weak. England is also the best performing nation year-to-date at +4.7% to 1,475,916 with Scotland also in positive at +2.3% to 148,896. However Northern Ireland (-8.3% to 39,371) and Wales (-3.8% to 56,007) both disappoint.

Podium finishers are as follows: the Ford Puma is #1 in England and Wales, #2 in Northern Ireland and #3 in Scotland, the Kia Sportage #1 in Northern Ireland, #2 in England and Wales and #4 in Scotland, the Vauxhall Corsa is #1 in Scotland, the Jaecoo 7 #2 in Scotland (and now #9 year-to-date), #5 in Wales and #7 in England, the Nissan Juke is #3 in England, the Hyundai Kona #3 in Northern Ireland and the MG HS #3 in Wales.

Other great performers include the Toyota Yaris #4 in Wales and 9 in Northern Ireland, the Audi A3 #5 in Scotland, the Chery Tiggo 7 #6 in Scotland for the first ever Top 10 finish by a Chery model, the Toyota Yaris Cross #9 in Wales and the Toyota Corolla #10 in Northern Ireland.
