Connoisseurs of British GTs, specifically admiring through the lens of McLaren Automotive, relished the latest motor gathering this past weekend in Sin City. Presented by Richard Mille, McLaren hosted VIP experiences during the 2025 Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, which featured more than $1.1B and over 600 of the world’s most prestigious and rarest automobiles, including the consumer-focused 2027 McLaren Project: Endurance LMDh Hypercar.

Concours at Wynn Las Vegas Festivities

The objective for McLaren at this year’s festivities centered on its historic motorsports heritage, future race programs, and advanced tech, all within an opulent and energetic atmosphere. The McLaren Performance Experience highlighted a range of activities for media guests, valued owners, and select dealers to participate in. We drove a 750S and an Artura on the track with Dream Racing, witnessed Nicolas Brown, President of The Americas at McLaren Automotive, unveil Project: Endurance, shopped at the McLaren Experience Center inside Wynn Las Vegas, and admired various custom McLarens at Sunset GT on the rooftop of Wynn Garage.

“Concours at Wynn Las Vegas continues to redefine what’s possible for a modern Concours,” said Brian Gullbrants, Chief Operating Officer – Wynn Resorts North America. “This year’s event united collectors, visionaries, and the world’s most extraordinary automobiles in an absolutely gorgeous setting that captured both the excitement of Las Vegas and the hospitality excellence Wynn is known for.”

Project: Endurance LMDh Hypercar Highlighted During Concours at Wynn Las Vegas

The Wynn Golf Club transformed into a green sea of beauty and perfection during the 4th annual auto gathering, which combined curated food and beverage experiences with entertainment and special Concours event packages. Nearly 7,000 attendees enjoyed a diverse lineup of classic cars, collectibles, supercars, and hypercars, including the McLaren’s 2027 Project: Endurance LMDh Hypercar intended for customers.

During the highly attended press conference, special guest and 5-time Le Mans winner Derek Bell joined McLaren on stage to introduce the race car. Developed in tandem with distinguished race car constructor Dallara, McLaren’s customer Le Mans hypercar features a race-built V6 twin turbo hybrid powertrain to power the rear wheels. Only a limited number of vehicles will be produced for a select few, who will receive two years of McLaren track sessions at prominent race circuits around the world.

“I’m delighted to announce that McLaren Automotive is collaborating with our colleagues in McLaren Racing to introduce a bold, authentic Le Mans Hypercar customer ownership experience,” stated Nick Collins, CEO, McLaren Group Holdings. “In addition to owning the very latest LMDh race car – a driving sensation alone few will ever experience – customers will enjoy unique, wholly immersive access to the development and racing program that will underpin our 2027 FIA World Endurance Championship contender.”

McLaren 750S Takes on Las Vegas Motor Speedway

If you’re Speed Racer then I’m Racer X, and my automobile of choice is McLaren’s explosive rear-wheel drive 750S. The PR team didn’t waste any time as we headed to the circuit upon arriving in Nevada. Dream Racing hosted me at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to explore the supercar’s 740-horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque from its potent twin-turbocharged 4-liter V8, which pairs with a 7-speed McLaren dual-clutch “Seamless Shift” transmission (featuring Comfort, Sport, and Track modes).

“Full acceleration, maintain the race line, downshift into the turn, hit the apex smoothly, now accelerate out of the exit and let it fly,” were my internal instructions while blazing through a series of laps around Las Vegas Motor Speedway. With a keen focus on ultra-lightweight materials, extensive suspension and chassis development, incredible body control, and superior downforce, McLaren engineers ensured that the power emanating from the GT would provide electrifying drives for loyalists. Whether it’s assertive takeoffs or aggressive braking, the 750S handles every task you throw at it with grace. McLaren equipped the 750S with 15.4″ front and 15″ rear carbon ceramic discs, along with 6-piston front and 4-piston rear aluminum calipers.

Essential development factors include a carbon fiber active rear wing, a centrally-located stainless steel sports exhaust system, a new front bumper and splitter, and staggered Pirelli P-ZERO tires. Racetrack-focused P-ZERO Trofeo R and Pirelli P-ZERO Corsa tires are optional. The goal of the 750S is to raise the bar in terms of driver engagement while combining the best of the 720S and the 765LT. Altogether, the supercar accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 206 mph.

McLaren Artura Trophy Evo Hot Laps

After my drive in the 750S it was time to hop in the passenger seat of the McLaren Artura Trophy Evo while IndyCar Series pro driver Patricio O’Ward ripped around the track like a bat out of hell. Every time I’m a guest during a hot lap session, it never ceases to amaze me how articulate these vehicles are at mind-bending speeds. The genesis of McLaren’s racing philosophy lies in its power-to-weight advantages. With a 60% motorsport formula, the specialized Artura Trophy Evo is engineered exclusively for the track.

The Artura Trophy Evo is propelled by a twin-turbocharged V6 engine tuned to produce 620PS and engineered utilizing the race-bred McLaren Carbon Fiber Lightweight Architecture. Launched in 2022, the McLaren Trophy is a championship series created for motivated and up-and-coming professional GT drivers, as well as Bronze-ranked newcomers.

McLaren Experience Center at Wynn Las Vegas

McLaren fans attending key events in Las Vegas can interact with their favorite supercar brand inside the Wynn’s 2,500-square-foot McLaren Experience Center. Brought to you by O’GARA, pioneers in the luxury automotive space since 1976, the boutique provides advocates with the opportunity to purchase McLaren gear, commission a vehicle, select a TUMI McLaren luggage set, or try out the same racing simulator that Lando Norris trained on. The exclusive retail store regularly rotates three McLaren supercars and frequently showcases unique hypercars such as the aforementioned Project: Endurance LMDh Hypercar, which was transported through the casino to attend the Concours.

The McLaren Experience Center has become a brand beacon and a new face of retail for the iconic supercar company, as well as an authorized McLaren dealer. As you can see, visitors to Wynn Las Vegas are winners in more ways than one. For more information visit www.McLarenOfLasVegas.com.

 Final Reflections

McLaren is applying its historic motorsports achievements to usher in a new era of scintillating performance. Defined by transcendent driver engagement, aerodynamic styling, athletic handling, and a storied racing pedigree, the latest Project: Endurance prodigy from the British automaker is primed for success and additional consumer reverence.

Prominent and established Concours events like Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and The Amelia Concours already have the attention of car enthusiasts. The Concours at Wynn Las Vegas has gained momentum since its debut in 2022 and is catching up, while bridging the Las Vegas lifestyle experience with traditional car culture and craftsmanship. It was a weekend to remember.
