From the Archives poll: Best Boston mayor?
As a Blue Wave swept through the country Tuesday night, Election Day 2025 in Boston came and went with few surprises.
Boston Mayor Michelle Wu cruised to an unopposed victory for re-election in her second term, and her favored candidate for city council held on to his seat.
But with relative quiet in Boston amid the national noise, the Herald wanted to take the opportunity in From the Archives to reflect on mayors past (and present) – asking our audience: Who was your favorite mayor of Boston?
