Patriots WR Kayshon Boutte leaves game, ruled out with hamstring injury
FOXBORO — Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte left Sunday’s game against the Falcons in the second quarter with a hamstring injury.
The starting pass catcher was ruled out with the injury early in the third quarter. Boutte has been the Patriots’ best deep threat this season, coming into Week 9 with 23 catches for 431 yards with five touchdowns.
He did not register a catch before leaving Sunday’s game. Wide receivers DeMario Douglas and Kyle Williams saw more playing time in Boutte’s absence.
Douglas emerged as a favorite target of Maye’s with four catches for 100 yards with a touchdown at the time Boutte was officially ruled out.
