Bulgaria June/H1 2025: Renault Clio (+99%) storms into pole position
Renault Clio sales double year-on-year in Bulgaria.
Thanks to our local partner CE Auto we can share with you the Top 10 best-selling models in Bulgaria. There is also a Top 10 brands and Top 50 models for the First Half of 2025. June sales stand at 5,123 units, with the H1 2025 total up 1% to 26,705. This is the highest H1 volume in history. The Skoda Octavia leads the way for the month, just 7 sales above last month’s leader the Toyota Corolla and 10 units ahead of the YTD best-seller the Renault Clio. The Dacia Duster and Hyundai Tucson complete the Top 5 while the Hyundai i20 surges to #9.
Over H1 2025, Skoda (-9%) and Toyota (-13%) remain the two most popular brands but both decline year-on-year. In contrast Renault (+29%) posts a splendid performance and overtakes sister brand Dacia (+7%). Volkswagen (+9%) rounds out the Top 5 ahead of Kia, Hyundai and Ford. Citroen breaks into the Top 10 at #9.
Model-wise, the Renault Clio (+99%) is the success story of the year so far, doubling its sales year-on-year and up seven spots on its Full Year 2024 ranking to #1. The Skoda Octavia (-9%) is knocked down to #2 and the Toyota Corolla (-6%) to #3. The Dacia Duster (+64%) takes full advantage of the new generation and climbs three ranks on FY2024 to #4. In contrast the Dacia Sandero (-3%) is down two to #5. The Renault Kangoo (+639%), Peugeot 3008 (+279%) and Hyundai i20 (+103%) impress below.
