The Renault Clio leads the way year-to-date.

Data by our Central European partner CE Auto shows a North Macedonian new car market shooting up 20% year-on-year in May to 743 units. This means the year-to-date tally is now down just -2.3% to 2,959. The Renault Clio (+133.3%) reclaims the top spot it holds year-to-date with 5.7% share. It sells the same amount as the Toyota Corolla up from #8 last month. The Skoda Kamiq (+51.9%) is back up to #3, a ranking it also holds YTD. The Seat Ibiza makes a rare appearance inside the Top 10 at #4, its highest ranking since February 2024 (#2). The Citroen C3 (+106.7%) also shines at #6 while the Skoda Scala breaks into the YTD Top 10 at #9. The VW Taigo ranks #10. #1 last month, the Kia Sportage slips out of the Top 10 for May.
