Citroen C3 sales are up 55.4% year-on-year in May.

Excellent results for the Greek new car market in May, up 13.9% year-on-year to 15,670 units. The year-to-date tally is now down just -0.6% to 63,515. Toyota (+15.4%) remains by far the most popular carmaker in the country, selling more than double any other brand at 16.4% share. Peugeot (+29.4%) confirms its 2nd rank above Hyundai (+37.2%) while Suzuki (-41.6%) is handicapped by a particularly high year-ago score. Kia (+90%) and Citroen (+22%) also shine but not as much as Dacia (+301.2%) up to #9. MG (+67%), Renault (+66.7%), Ford (+46.9%) and BYD (+1423.1%) stand out below.

Over in the models lane, the Toyota Yaris Cross (+31%) is up three spots on April to land in pole position for the first time this year. As a reminder it ranked #1 over the Full Year 2024, and is now #2 YTD in 2025. The Citroen C3 (+55.4%) is up to #2 ahead of the Kia Picanto (+97.5%) and Peugeot 2008 (+25.9%). The Suzuki Swift (+51.1%) is up five ranks to #5, distancing the Fiat Panda (-26.8%). The Dacia Sandero (+378.2%) and Toyota C-HR (+243.6%) score surreal gains in the remainder of the Top 10 whereas the Toyota Yaris (-42%) implodes to #8. The Opel Frontera lands at #80, the BYD Dolphin Surf at #110 and the Dacia Bigster at #174.
