
Israel May 2025: Chery and Jaecoo break all records
Jaecoo holds 8.5% of the Israeli market in May.
Thanks to our local partner cartube.co.il we can share with you today May results by brand for the Israeli market. Models data is a quarterly occurrence. Sales are back up a splendid 16% year-on-year to 25,983, bringing the year-to-date volume up 10.4% to 142,641. Toyota (-9.5%) stays on top with 11.7% share, albeit below its year-to-date level of 12.4% where it ranks #2 behind Hyundai (+84.9%) #3 this month. In between the two carmakers #2 is Chery (+162.3%) smashing all its records at 2,665 sales and 10.3% share, its previous best being #4 last April, 2,528 sales last January and 7.3% share last October. Also breaking all its records is fellow Chinese fare Jaecoo, up to #4 with 2,203 sales and 8.5% share, with previous bests at #4 and 5.3% share last month and 1,875 units last January. Xpeng (+1052.4%) at #9, Mazda (+139.8%) at #6 and MG (+97.5%) at #8 all post surreal gains.
