Red Sox lineups: Alex Cora won’t manage Monday, Kristian Campbell out again

Kristian Campbell is out of the lineup for the second consecutive game. The rookie infielder (and sometimes outfielder) didn’t play in Sunday’s Atlanta Braves series finale, a 10-4 loss that dropped the Red Sox to 23-25 on the season.

Over 11 games this month, Campbell is hitting .085 with a .253 OPS, and just three singles and a home run. He’s drawn one walk and struck out 15 times in that span.

The Red Sox will also have to contend with a white-hot Mets team without their manager, as Alex Cora is attending his daughter’s graduation from Boston College. Instead, bench coach Ramón Vázquez will sub in as skipper for the series opener.

Right-handed rookie Hunter Dobbins will go up against right-hander Kodai Senga; the Mets ghost forkball-er enters the series with a 1.02 ERA and just five earned runs allowed in 44.1 innings.
