Singapore April 2025: BYD at 20.7% share, GAC inside Top 10

GAC breaks into the Singaporean Top 10 thanks to its Aion EV range.

New car sales in Singapore advance 14.4% year-on-year in April to 3,949 units, leading to a year-to-date volume up 28% to 14,863. BYD (+34.7%) posts its fourth consecutive monthly win and sports its 2nd best ever market share at 20.7%, also hit last February. The Chinese carmaker is now above 3,000 sales year-to-date for a 20.2% share. Toyota (-4.1%) holds 16.6% of the market for the month, distancing Honda (+69.1%) at #3. Mazda (+16.9%) and Tesla (+16.2%) beat the market below, while GAC (+3366.7%) breaks into the Top 10 for the first time at #9.
