In the South Coast Conference, Jack Anderson struck out nine and Charlie Niemiec recorded three hits to pace Greater New Bedford (7-7) to a 4-0 victory over Old Rochester.
In a Patriot League matchup, Lucas Bartlett went five innings earning the win, allowing only two earned runs, as Plymouth South defeated Marshfield 3-2. … Preston George and Jason Nye both recorded three hits while Shea Cote struck out seven to lead Whitman-Hanson (10-3) past Quincy, 10-0. … Cole Hendricksen tossed a complete-game three-hitter as Hanover blanked Duxbury, 2-0. … Henry Novick went 2-for-2 with two RBI and laced one of four doubles in the game for Plymouth North (13-1) in a 9-1 win over Scituate.
Junior Travers Moodie struck out 10 as Medford won 8-1 over Greater Boston League opponent Somerville.
In the Cape & Islands League, Ty Creighton struck out 10 as Sandwich edged Dennis-Yarmouth 2-1.
Yuriel Gonzalez Vargas struck out 17 and also had a pit of hits as Salem Academy blanked Cathedral/Cristo Rey 10-0 in nonleague action. … Nolan Trottier’s two-run single in the seventh gave Middleboro a 5-4 win over New Bedford.
In the Southeast Conference, Jayden Souza went the distance while allowing two hits and striking out 11 as Durfee blanked Bridgewater-Raynham 4-0.
In the Merrimack Valley Conference, Drew Mello struck out eight while going the distance and Nolan Dawson added three hits with four RBI as Billerica (6-6) blanked Methuen 14-0.
Billy Champion and Brendan O’Toole combined to throw a no-hitter as Waltham downed Dual County League opponent Wayland 5-0.
BOYS LACROSSE
In the Greater Boston League, Pasquale Candelino led with six goals while Colin Rosas added four as Somerville toppled Malden 14-2.
Tony Giacchino netted a hat trick with two assists as Masconomet defeated Winthrop 13-5 in a Northeastern Conference matchup. … Chase Russo (two goals, two assists), Liam Keaney (two goals, one assist), and Emerson Joy (two goals) paced Swampscott to a 8-2 win over Peabody.
In the Merrimack Valley Conference, Trey Kean and Tommy Farrell each notched three goals and two assists to lead North Andover to an 11-4 win over Chelmsford.
In the South Coast Conference, Will Levrault (five goals, two assists), Kenny Wisniewski (four goals, three assists), and Colin McKay (three goals, three assists) paced Apponequet (10-3) to a 17-2 victory over Greater New Bedford.
Jack McCavanagh tallied four goals and two assists to propel Manchester-Essex to an 18-6 win over Hamilton-Wenham in a Cape Ann league matchup.
In a Mayflower League game, Mario LaRosa finished with four goals and four assists to lead South Shore (14-1) to a 7-4 victory over Southeastern.
Cam McCarthy led a balanced attack with four goals and an assist as St. John’s Prep (14-1) defeated St. John’s Shrewsbury 18-3 in the Catholic Conference.
GIRLS LACROSSE
In a South Coast Conference game, Cece Levrault (five goals, eight assists), and Abby Bradley (four goals, five assists) paced Apponequet (11-2) to a 21-2 victory over Greater New Bedford.
Clare Latham scored five times and Emmette Barry collected a hat trick as Bishop Feehan took down Foxboro, 15-9.
Ashley Wallace scored four goals to establish a school freshman scoring record, while teammate Sasha Miller added four goals and two assists as Beverky defeated Salem 22-4 in the Northeastern Conference.
In a nonleague matchup, Quinn Anderson (five goals, two assists) and Elisabeth Stutzman (four goals, one assist) paved the way offensively as Sandwich defeated Cape Cod Academy 18-10.
SOFTBALL
In a Patriot league game, Noey Giardina had two doubles and four RBIs while Abby Hanna had a two run home run as Hanover defeated Duxbury 13-4.
Zoe Spector went 3-for-4 with three RBI and Hannah Schwager went 2-of-3 with two RBI as Newton South rolled over Dual County League opponent Waltham 18-3.
In a Tri-Valley League matchup, Priya Bedard knocked in two runs going 3-for-3 with a triple and a double, including her 100th career hit, as Medway topped Medfield 18-12.
In the Middlesex League, Sara Keck finished with eleven strikeouts and Charlotte Forcina knocked in four RBI off a pair of hits as Wilmington defeated Watertown, 14-1.
Camryn Cloonan homered twice as Dighton-Rehoboth defeated Somerset Berkley 9-6 in the South Coast Conference.
VOLLEYBALL
