Cop Pushes Crashed Lamborghini Off California Highway 9 To ‘Clear The Way’
A 2023 Lamborghini Huracán STO met a rough end on California’s Highway 9 near Santa Cruz after the driver lost control and flipped the supercar. The high-performance Lamborghini, designed for the track with 630 horsepower and rear-wheel drive, landed on its roof and suffered extensive damage.
To clear the road and prevent more incidents, the California Highway Patrol quickly shoved the wrecked car off the highway. Photos from the scene show heavy damage to the bodywork, which is mostly carbon fiber, with visible cracks and gashes across much of the car.
Both the driver and passenger walked away with only minor injuries. The crash happened in the Upper Highway 9 area, a winding mountain road popular with car enthusiasts looking to escape city traffic. This time, the joyride ended with a costly reminder of how unforgiving those roads can be.
