2025 Ford Mustang brings convertible fun for everyone
Ford Motor Co. and its array of long-lasting name plates has gone down a rabbit hole lately with EVs spending tons of money and time on production and innovation. While the old trusty nameplates continue to be profitable and modern, Ford has untouched the Mustang and for good reason. Entering Grasso’s Garage, the 2025 Intense Lime Yellow Metallic Ford Mustang Convertible.
As marketed as a 4-seater, the 2025 Mustang Convertible is powered by a potent 2.3L EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine providing 315 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. With plenty of pep in its step, we still earned excellent fuel economy at over 28 miles per gallon on our week-long Florida test. Paired with the ever-popular and proven 10-speed automatic transmission that Ford still utilizes. Standard options on our Ford Mustang Convertible tester included remote start, cross-traffic alert, a black decklid spoiler and black painted wheels.
Unlike the late 60’s Mustang Convertible, in 2025, we notice excellent seat comfort, great infotainment technology that is easy to use and navigate. Drive mode options were also changeable from the center-stack, cockpit-like interior, which produced exhaust noise options and enhancements while the entire infotainment system was easy to use and simple for all ages.
As a staple in the Ford Fleet, the Mustang delivers comfort, convenience and power to the consumer for an excellent value. Unlike previous generations, which attempted to be a throwback of the older mustang, the 2025 refreshed version is fresh and up to date with both technology, safety and aesthetics. Finding an American made convertible in today’s over-inflated market is hard enough, let alone the long-lasting and proven Ford Mustang which is still around and ready to satisfy all of your convertible wants and needs while not skimping out on comfort and storage. Did we mention a great base-price also? Now with employee pricing surrounding the Ford brand, now might be the time to give the Mustang another look, for that fun in the sun you deserve.
The overwhelming interest in last week’s classic car review was unfathomable. I hope to be able to review more classics in the future. Do you have a favorite?
