ST. JOHN’S PREP
Following his contributions to a state title in 2024, Goldstein anchored a blue line that allowed the second-least goals in Div. 1. The junior captain’s 21 assists led the team, and he added six goals in a Catholic Conference All-Star season. The three-year varsity player with two conference championships has 51 career points, and plays for the Valley Junior Warriors U18 team as he aims to play collegiate hockey.

ST. JOHN’S SHREWSBURY
St. John’s missed an injured Menyalkin over a 1-9 stretch to close the regular season, but his return flipped the switch for a run to the Div. 1 state final. The 6-foot-3 senior center scored golden goals in the quarterfinals and semifinals to clinch the Pioneers’ berth, finishing the year with nine goals and 19 assists to earn Catholic Conference co-MVP. Menyalkin boasts a 4.2 GPA and is committed to Bowdoin College.
JP MESSURI
ARLINGTON
After a 44-point freshman season, Messuri erupted in his sophomore campaign with 22 goals and 30 assists as the Spy Ponders won the Middlesex League Liberty for a second straight year. The two-time All-Scholastic selection earned league MVP honors, and his golden goal against St. John’s Prep in the state quarterfinals helped Arlington reach as far as double overtime in the Div. 1 state semifinals. Messuri is an Honor Roll student, plays street hockey regularly, also plays for the Cape Cod Whalers, and hopes to play collegiate hockey.
LOGAN POULIN
NAUSET
Poulin’s two goals at TD Garden helped Nauset win its first state title, capping a senior season in which he tallied 53 goals and 32 assists, avenging last year’s loss in the Div. 3 state final. The two-time Cape and Islands League MVP notched 189 points over three seasons as the program’s all-time leading scorer, and he’s a two-time All-Scholastic selection. The lacrosse star decommitted from the University of Vermont to explore a future in hockey.
NICHOLAS RITCHIE
POPE FRANCIS
Two years after anchoring a Div. 1 state title in 2023, Ritchie closed his career in net for Pope Francis with a .940 save percentage and a 1.92 GAA. The 2024 Pete Frates Winter Classic MVP finishes with a 1.58 GAA across 51 games, earning 10 shutouts. He is a High Honors student and a member of the National Honors Society.
SEAMUS TATTAN
CATHOLIC MEMORIAL
Often cited by head coach Larry Rooney as an integral voice on one of the state’s top defenses, Tattan’s leadership paved the way for young Catholic Memorial to win its first Div. 1 state championship since 2009. The captain posted 17 points on the year and has been on the Principal’s List all four years of high school. Tattan heads to Plymouth State next year for lacrosse.

BELMONT
The 6-foot-2 senior center finished his career with 109 points (posting a 23-24-47 sheet in 2025) and is an AP Scholar with Distinction. He’s set to take a gap year to play for NCDC Boston Junior Rangers.
CAMERON BERRY
BC HIGH
Berry was a key member of a BC High defensive unit that allowed the second fewest goals in Div. 1. The senior captain posted 13 points with 10 assists in 20 games, earning a MSHCA Senior All-Star Game selection. Berry has a 4.481 weighted GPA (3.97 unweighted) and is an AP Scholar with Distinction and a member of the National Honors Society, among several other academic achievements.
TYLER BOURGEA
TEWKSBURY
With 28 goals and 30 assists through a run to the Div. 2 state semifinals this year, the star junior already has a balanced 138 points to his career (68 goals). Bourgea is an Honor Roll student and plays golf in the fall. He looks to study sports medicine in college.

ARLINGTON CATHOLIC
After anchoring a run to the Div. 1 state semifinals as a junior, Clair had a 95-percent save rating while allowing 1.97 goals per game in his senior season. The two-time All-Scholastic is a three-time Catholic Central League All-Star and was the league’s Defensive Player of the Year.
CHARLES DEMEO
BEDFORD
Demeo’s 23 goals and 20 assists led Bedford in scoring as a defenseman, pacing the program’s first trip to a Div. 3 state semifinals. He ends his hockey career as a two-time MVC/DCL All-Conference selection and an MVP with 110 career points. Demeo is an Honor Roll student and plays golf, tennis and lacrosse.
CHARLIE DUGGAN
MEDFIELD
The senior goaltender was 21-2 on the season with a goals against average of 1.17 on his way to being named Tri-Valley League Goalie of the Year. For his career, Duggan amassed an overall record of 41-8 (7-2 in the postseason) with a 1.39 GAA and a save percentage of 93.8. A member of the Spanish Honors Society, Duggan also plays baseball.
DEVIN GOSCIAK
XAVERIAN
The left wing paced Xaverian’s top line with 19 goals and 17 assists in a trip to the Div. 1 state quarterfinals. The senior earned a second Catholic Conference All-Star selection, finishing with 42 goals and 37 assists in his career. Gosciak has a 4.35 weighted GPA and is set to study finance at Lehigh where he plans on playing club hockey.
LIAM GUILDERSON
BELMONT
Guilderson followed up a solid freshman campaign with another one as the Middlesex League All-Star scored 25 goals and added 28 assists in 23 games. In the offseason, Guilderson is a member of the Boston Jr. Eagles. A USA Hockey National Development Camp attendee last year, Guilderson will attend Dexter Southfield next year.
MICHAEL HOLGERSEN
WINTHROP
Holgersen became the 50th boys hockey player to record a hat trick in an MIAA state final, leading the Vikings to their first championship since 1976. His 32 points (16 goals) earned him a Northeastern Conference All-Conference selection, and he eclipsed 100 career points. The three-sport athlete has a 3.8 GPA and plans to play club hockey at Quinnipiac.

ARCHBISHOP WILLIAMS
Kelly closed out his career with 119 points and 73 goals, producing 20 goals and 21 assists his senior year. The two-time All-Scholastic earned Catholic Central League Offensive Player of the Year honors after earning MVP last year, as well as a third All-Star selection and multiple in-season All-Tournament nods.
JACK LEE
WOBURN
Lee was integral for the Tanners in consecutive trips to the Div. 2 state semifinals, capping his career with a 22-goal, 28-assist senior season. A 108-point scorer in all, Lee earned two Middlesex League All-Star selections. He is a three-sport athlete with league all-star honors in baseball, and is a High Honors student with a 4.3 GPA. Lee will do a post-grad year at Canterbury.

ESSEX TECH
Leonard anchored a newer program’s surge to new heights as a four-year varsity player, erupting for 31 goals and 22 assists in his senior season. The Cape Ann League MVP and two-time Commonwealth Athletic Conference All-Star set the Hawks’ all-time scoring mark at 151 points, earning a MSHCA Senior All-Star Game selection. He plans on playing a post-grad or year in juniors in hopes of playing collegiate hockey.
LUKE LONG
CATHOLIC MEMORIAL
The senior had career-bests in goals (18) and assists (15) to earn Catholic Conference co-MVP honors and help lead the Knights to the Div. 1 state title. The 5-foot-10 right wing finishes with 47 career points, and is on the Principal’s List with first honors.
STEPHEN MACINTOSH
BILLERICA
MacIntosh stood on his head in the biggest games all the way through Billerica’s first state title run since 1977, allowing just six goals in the tournament as part of a 1.70 GAA on the year. He posted a .935 save percentage in a strong senior year, also earning the Boston Bruins Sportsmanship Award. MacIntosh plays for both the Mass Marauders and the New England Bulldogs in the offseason.

WOBURN
Part of one of the MIAA’s best 1-2 scoring punches, McEleney dominated in his senior season with 60 points to anchor a second straight trip to the Div. 2 state semifinals. The two-year captain posted 129 career points as a two-time Middlesex League All-Star. Also a league all-star in golf, McEleney is a three-sport athlete and a member of the National Business Honors Society. He’s headed to Canterbury for a post-grad year.

HINGHAM
McKenna was the leading scorer for one of the state’s top attacks, finishing his junior season with 24 goals and 11 assists to put him at 56 career points. He’s a High Honor Roll student and a standout lacrosse player, which he’s committed to play at Saint Anselm.
MAX MONROE
POPE FRANCIS
Much of the top-ranked Cardinals’ run to the Div. 1 state semifinals was due to their strong defense, which Monroe anchored in a strong junior season. He posted a career-best six goals and 12 assists, earning All-Tournament nods in multiple in-season tournaments. Monroe is a National Honors Society member with a 4.1 GPA, and is a three-sport athlete (golf, lacrosse).
NATE MULVEY
READING
Mulvey closed his career at Reading with 21 points (eight goals) in his senior year, earning Middlesex League All-Star and All-Conference selections along with the Boston Bruins Sportsmanship Award. Also an all-star in lacrosse, Mulvey is set to play the sport for Saint Anselm next year.
NOLAN RUSSELL
ARLINGTON
Despite missing time with injury, Russell finished the year with 13 goals and 20 assists – including a dramatic game-tying goal against St. Mary’s to extend Arlington’s tournament run to the Div. 1 state semifinals. The junior is a three-year varsity player and half of one of the state’s top 1-2 scoring punches. He’s a three-sport athlete and a member of the National Honor Society.
TEDDY SHUMAN
CANTON
The Bulldogs allowed the fewest goals in Div. 2 this year, led by Shuman’s play from the blueline en route to the state final. His six goals and 23 assists were both career highs, putting the junior at 64 career points with a Hockomock League All-Star selection. Shuman is a National Honors Society member and an Honor Roll student, interested in golf and fantasy football. He also plays golf and baseball.
MATTHEW SMITH JR.
ST. MARY’S LYNN
A stellar junior season in net finished with a 1.57 GAA and a .935 save percentage, earning Smith Jr. Catholic Central League MVP and his second All-Star selection. His seven shutouts this year and 12 for his career are the most in program history, while 561 saves this year puts him at 1,154 overall. Smith Jr. made National Camp last year for the 2008 age group on top of a 3.65 GPA. Working out with his older brother, yoga, and reading mental performance books are among his hobbies, and he looks to play collegiate hockey.
TRAVIS THOMAS
CANTON
Thomas erupted for 26 goals and 27 assists in his senior season, anchoring a potent attack that ranked atop Div. 2 as part of a trip to the state final. The right wing finished with 91 points as a Bulldog before heading to a trade school for plumbing. Thomas also plays golf, and enjoys hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

BILLERICA
Viscione was at the heart of Billerica’s Div. 2 state title run, scoring twice and dishing the game-winning assist in double-overtime at TD Garden. The senior posted 40 goals and 19 assists to earn MVC/DCL Player of the Year, finishing his career with 100 career goals. Viscione stands out on the diamond as well as a second-team All-Conference player in baseball, and he’s an Honor Roll student. The multi-sport captain will study radiology at Middlesex Community College.

ST. JOHN’S PREP
Ward stepped up to lead St. John’s Prep with 18 goals and 15 assists as a junior, helping power a repeat Catholic Conference championship as the Eagles contended in Div. 1. He earned a Catholic Conference All-Star selection and is an Honor Roll student. Ward plays club for the Valley Junior Warriors and is a 7-handicap golfer.
