ALEXANDER BAJORAS

ST. JOHN’S PREP

The heavyweight standout capped an impressive career by winning a title at the National High School Championships, the Division 1 North title and a runner-up spot at the State, All-State and New England tournaments. The National Honor Society member is a four-time Academic All-American.

JOSEPH BAKER

BEVERLY

Baker was nearly unstoppable at 165 pounds as he put together a 50-1 campaign, winning the Lowell Holidays, Division 1 North Sectional, State and All-State titles. His win at the All-State was a first for any wrestler at Beverly High. The Northeastern Conference Wrestler of the Year ended his career with a 156-31 record and a pair of sectional titles.

AIDAN BAUM

MILFORD

The 144-pound senior went 54-3 on the season, winning the Division 2 Central, State and All-State titles before finishing up with a fifth-place performance at the New Englands. Baum wrapped up his career with a 189-20 record, two sectional and state titles as well as a four-time New England qualifier. The honor roll student with a 3.8 GPA will wrestle at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse.

MIKEY BOULANGER

MILFORD

The 157-pound senior was undefeated on the season, winning all 55 matches and titles at the Lowell Holidays, Division 2 Central, State, All-State and the New Englands. Boulanger finished with a 185-23 record, and three sectional and state titles. A member of the National Honor Society as well as several other academic groups, Boulanger will attend Duke where he plans to major in biomedical engineering.

THOMAS BROWN

CHELMSFORD

The senior standout put his name in the equation for best heavyweight in state history as went 51-0 on the season with 44 of the wins coming via pin. He was named the Outstanding Wrestler at the Division 1 Central Sectional, State and All-State tournaments. For his career, Brown was 213-2 with 198 pins and a winning streak of 168 dating to his freshman year. He will attend Villanova on a football scholarship.

CADEN CHASE

CENTRAL CATHOLIC

The 190-pound junior put together a 50-3 season with wins at the Division 1 North, State and All-States, while placing third at the New Englands. A member of the football team, Chase trains at both Doughboy Wrestling and Smitty’s Wrestling Barn. His academic goals are to study economics and political science in college.

VINNY DEMAIO

METHUEN

DeMaio was the hallmark of consistency at 175 pounds, reaching the finals of the Lowell Holidays, while winning the Division 1 North Sectional and State titles. The first-team all-Merrimack Valley Conference performer was third at the All-States and fourth in the New Englands. The junior has a career mark of 183-20 and has placed at the States and All-States three times. An honor roll student, DeMaio has a 4.0 GPA.

NICHOLAS DESISTO

TEWKSBURY

The 120-pound junior was the Division 3 North and State champion as well as an All-State and New England finalist. An honor roll student, Desisto is a four-time sectional champion, three-time state champion and two-time All-State and New England finalist. He has amassed 150 wins in his career.

BRAEDON GOES

ST. JOHN’S PREP

Goes put together an impressive 58-2 season, winning the Division 1 North, State and All-State titles, while placing third in the New Englands at 126 pounds. As a junior, he was third in the All-State and New Englands. A three-time Academic All-American, Goes trains at Smitty’s Wrestling Barn in New Hampshire.

COLE GLYNN

CENTRAL CATHOLIC

The 113-pound senior was 56-4 on the season, winning the Division 1 State and All-State titles, while taking fourth at the New England championships. A two-time State and All-State champion, Glynn is a high honors student with a 5.31 GPA. A Harvard Book Club Award winner, Glynn plans on majoring in mechanical engineering in college.

MATTHEW HARROLD

HAVERHILL

Harrold won the Division 1 North Sectional, State and All-State titles at 215 pounds, while taking second in the New England tournament. Harrold has won 165 matches in his career, including three sectional and two state titles with a year to go. Harrold trains at Doughboy Wrestling Club.

ANTOINE JACKMAN

GREATER LOWELL

The 106-pound sophomore posted a 45-7 record with 27 pins. A two-time All-State finalist, Jackman advanced to the championship match at the New Englands. Jackman is a two-time State Vocational and Division 1 North Sectional champion. He wrestles at Doughboy Wrestling Club

CYRUS JONES

SHARON

The 175-pound junior earned his second straight All-Scholastic berth after winning the sectional and state titles and finishing second at the New Englands. A three-time sectional champion and two-time All-State finalist, Jones has an overall record of 112-13. A member of the National Honor Society, Jones trains at Metrowest United.

JONATHAN MORAES

MELROSE

The 113-pound junior opened the season by winning the Lowell Holidays and that propelled him to a 55-3 season. A three-time sectional and state champion, Moraes boasts a career mark of 125-29. In the offseason, Moraes competes in martial arts.

YANDEL MORALES

ANDOVER

Morales was undefeated at 132 points, winning all 58 matches including the Division 1 North Sectional, State, All-State and New England titles; he didn’t allow an offensive point during the season. Morales won the prestigious George Bossi Lowell Holidays and the Woburn Tournament where he earned Outstanding Wrestler Award at both events. A three-time sectional, state and All-State champion, Morales has a career record of 208-12.

PETER RINCAN

BILLERICA

Rincan had another terrific season, winning the State and All-State titles as well as a third-place finish in the 120-pound weight class at the New Englands to end the season with a 51-1 record. A three-time State and All-State champion as well as a three-time New England place-finisher (winning in 2023), Rincan has a career mark of 159-2.

NATHAN SAYERS

XAVERIAN

The 126-pound senior went 55-5 and was the Outstanding Wrestler at the sectionals. Sayers was a finalist at both the State and All-State championship, ended his career with a school-record 198-44 record and four sectional titles as well as placing at the States and All-States four times. He is a member of the National Honor Society.

JAMES TILDSLEY

SHAWSHEEN

The 150-pound junior was literally untouched this past season. He won all 62 matches, 51 coming by pin and the other 11 were tech falls. A two-time New England Champion at Shawsheen, Tildsley has won 117 straight matches dating to 2022. A four-time Lowell Holiday, three-time Division 1 State and two-time All-State Champion, Tildsley was an all-Commonwealth Athletic Conference linebacker for the Division 5 state champions.

SIDNEY TILDSLEY

SHAWSHEEN

The 138-pound senior wrapped up a Hall of Fame career in a blaze of glory. Tildsley won the All-State title for the fourth time and the New Englands for the third time, earning him automatic induction in both organization’s Hall of Fame. A four-time state and Lowell Holiday champion, Tildsley set a state record for career wins for 245. In the fall, Tildsley quarterbacked the Shawsheen football team to an undefeated season and the Division 5 State Championship.

FRANKLIN

Few have had an impact on the high school scene as a freshman than Woodall. The 106-pounder opened the season by winning the Lowell Holidays and kept on rolling on his way to a perfect 54-0 season. Woodall won the Division 1 West Sectional, Division 1 State, All-State and New England titles.
