Saturday’s high school roundup/scores: Lexi Davos nets four goals, sparks Norwell past Weymouth

Lexi Davos scored four goals and an assist as Norwell rolled to a 13-2 girls lacrosse victory over Weymouth in nonleague play.

Sara MacLeod had five goals and two assists as Billerica defeated Beverly, 11-8. …Emily Hagan and Sophia Fruci each had four goals while Caitlyn Naughton added three goals and three assists as Walpole defeated Reading, 14-10. … Emma Dubrovsky scored three goals as Bedford defeated Burlington, 11-7. … Ava Nason scored six goals as St. Mary’s defeated Malden Catholic, 12-8.

Boys lacrosse

Freshman Tyler Moody scored seven goals and added five assists as Danvers rolled to a 17-5 nonleague win over Hamilton-Wenham. … Colten Russo had two goals and four assists, while Tony Giacchini added a hat trick as Masconomet edged Lexington in overtime, 10-9.

In NEPSAC play, Matt Tersolo, Connor O’Neil and Quinn Donovan each scored three time as Pingree rolled to a 15-6 win over Brewster.

Baseball

Carter Sahagian allowed one hit and fanned six in four innings as Marblehead held off Manchester-Essex 6-5 in a nonleague contest. … Walter Rudalski pitched four innings of scoreless relief and drove in the winning run in the eighth as Lynnfield edged Swampscott, 5-4.

James Burnes allowed one run in five innings and Rafa Corcoran pitched two scoreless innings to get the save in his first varsity appearance as Milton beat Catholic Memorial, 3-1. … Liam Waterman tossed five innings of scoreless relief and Dan Greenfield and Xavier Parsons each had two hits as Essex Tech defeated Winthrop 5-3 in eight innings.

Liam Wagner had a two-run home run and Wyatt Miller had a two-run double as BC High rolled to an 11-2 win over Lincoln-Sudbury. Anthony Dufour, Matt Reardon and Eddie Kates combined on a three-hitter.

Wrestling

Boston Herald All-Scholastic wrestler Sidney Tildsley committed to wrestle at Harvard in the fall. The 138-pound senior won the All-State title for the fourth time and the New Englands for the third time, earning him automatic induction in both organization’s Hall of Fame. A four-time state and Lowell Holiday champion, Tildsley set a state record for career wins for 245.
